We have designed a new concept for a cheap, clean and powerful engine running on hydrogen.
Not a fuel cell engine. An internal combustion engine.
Do we really need to build new engines ?
Designing new engines is a long and complex process. The new norms are exercising increased pressure on engineers to find solutions. Our concept, if integrated from scratch into new engine design, solves several engineering constraints, although not too many changes will be required.
Cost-effective approach
Our innovation, when integrated from scratch, will not generate a lot of extra costs but will allow for meeting the most demanding constraints from a majority of countries in the world. Existing tooling can be used, allowing for a full depreciation of the latter. The current workforce can be maintained to ensure the manufacturing.
Adaptability
Our concept enables vehicle manufacturers of any kind to keep their designs, thus reducing the manufacturing costs. Adaptation will of course be necessary to install the hydrogen tank(s) and pipes and more...
Revenues
The absence of pollution together with the matching power level of the diesel engines will yield customer appetite for the approach.
